About us

Since April 6, 2010, Brookville Martial Arts Academy is based on the belief that our student and parents' needs are of the utmost importance. Our entire team is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers, referrals, and online sales. Even though Brookville Martial arts Academy business is mostly online, we do have a few locations that we teach at on a weekly basis.

We would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service we can provide in the industry. Brookville Martial Arts Academy is taking a different approach to martial arts which means that we have a blended curriculum that consists of techniques from Taekwondo, American kenpo Karate, Kickboxing and more. We are not dedicated to just one style, but many different styles and techniques molded into our martial arts programs. Our kickboxing style classes is exciting and helps motivate students to perform at their best.

The Head instructor, Sensei Billy Harris, trains in different locations weekly to improve on skill and to provide more for students and parents. Brookville Martial Arts Academy believes we can give you the tools necessary to improve your martial arts skills and to prepare you for real life self-defense situations, competitions, or demonstrations you would like to participate in. Our philosophy is Martial arts is more than just learning about how to punch and kick, it’s about improving yourself in every way. Positive attitude, self-respect, respect for others, self-discipline, and continuing to educate yourself are few examples of characteristics we would like you to have. Taking steps on improving your health and fitness level we believe will enhance your quality of life.

All Instructors are required to go through a criminal background check and provide child clearances before even being considered for employment. All supporting documents must be up to date and made readily available for the public to see. Every instructor has to go through extensive training and we only hire from within the company.

Results from your martial arts training will depend on your performance in class, memorization of the curriculum taught, and how much effort you are willing to give. The instructor will not grant a belt promotion to a student if the instructor feels that the student is not ready for the next level. The head instructor expects every student to train hard every class, come to class every week, come prepared for classes, and practicing at home. Most students are coming to class only once a week so it’s very important that the student practices at home and that the parents are helping to make sure they are doing so. Instructors will be respectful, honest, and will teach you everything you need to know. Please keep in mind that martial arts is about improving yourself and leaving a positive impression. We hope you enjoy the programs that we have to offer and there will be updates added weekly
